To park for Cruise Terminal 1, reserve a Portside spot online, drive to our gated lot off SR-528 at Exit 52, and ride the free shuttle about 2 minutes to Terminal 1 at 9050 Discovery Rd, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920, on the south side of Port Canaveral. Parking is $14.95 a day, so a 7-night Royal Caribbean sailing from Terminal 1 comes to $119.60 for all 8 days.
Terminal assignments shift by date, so we confirm your exact terminal in your booking confirmation and again in the email we send the day before you sail.
Both the day you board and the day you return count as parking days. Here is what the trip lengths sailing from Terminal 1 cost at the port garage versus a reserved Portside spot:
| Cruise length | Parking days | Port garage at Terminal 1 | Portside (reserved, shuttle included) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-night cruise | 4 days | $80.00 plus tax | $59.80 |
| 4-night cruise | 5 days | $100.00 plus tax | $74.75 |
| 7-night cruise | 8 days | $160.00 plus tax | $119.60 |

Every ship assigned to Terminal 1 in our schedule data is a Royal Caribbean ship, and they are among the largest at the port: Utopia of the Seas, Star of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas, listed at 5,479 to 5,668 guests. When one of them boards, thousands of people arrive at a single building in the same few hours, and the port's first-come garages are where that squeeze shows up first.
A reserved off-site spot takes the garage out of the equation. You pull into a space that is already held in your name, keep your carry-on bags with you, and our shuttle takes you directly to Terminal 1. There is no circling for a level with room, and no long walk with luggage from the far end of a lot.
Plan around the check-in or arrival time in your Royal Caribbean cruise documents, not the ship's departure time. Reaching our lot a little ahead of that window gives you time to park, show your digital pass and ride over without rushing. The last outbound shuttle leaves at 2:00 PM, and the day before you sail we email your shuttle time with your arrival reminder.
From Orlando, the Beachline (SR-528) runs east toward the port, and our exit, Exit 52 at Banana River Drive, comes one exit before the port itself.
Exit right on the main terminal walkway, pass the restrooms on your right, turn left at the next intersection, and walk to the Portside shuttle podium. Return shuttles start at 7:00 AM. Weekend Bahamas cruisers often travel with carry-ons only and can head straight to the podium; if you checked bags on a week-long Caribbean sailing, collect them inside the terminal first, then follow the walkway out.
Reserve a Portside spot online and park in our gated lot off SR-528 at Exit 52. The free shuttle takes you directly to Cruise Terminal 1 at 9050 Discovery Rd, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920, about a 2 minute ride. Parking is $14.95 a day with a guaranteed space, so you are not relying on the port's first-come garages on a busy Royal Caribbean sailing day.
Our schedule data lists Utopia of the Seas, Star of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas at Terminal 1. Terminal assignments can change by sailing, so we confirm your exact terminal in your booking confirmation and again in the email we send the day before you sail. Each ship has its own parking page with its usual terminal and price.
